The Bolingbrook Arts Council presents multiple opportunities for artist engagement throughout the year as part of its mission to promote, develop, and implement projects that enhance the artistic and cultural aesthetics of the Village of Bolingbrook. Ultimately we want to create a culture in Bolingbrook that embraces and financially supports working artists and artist groups.

ART IN THE WINDOWS

The Bolingbrook Arts Council and The Promenade Bolingbrook would like to have Bolingbrook artists and artisans display their work in storefront windows located on Sandburg Way of the Promenade. Your name and information will be displayed for a month, for free, along with your artwork. Please keep in mind that artwork displayed is subject to sun exposure that may cause damage to certain types of artwork over a prolonged period of time. Please take the steps necessary to protect sensitive artwork from UV rays or submit artwork that is not susceptible to UV exposure. A variety of artistic work can be displayed-- textiles, paintings, photography, woodwork, ceramics, glasswork, books, sculptures, etc.
If you are interested in having your work displayed at the Promenade, please fill out this form. Rolling submissions will be accepted and evaluated in the order that we receive them.

2022-2023 THEATRE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP AWARD PROGRAM
The Bolingbrook Arts Council is excited to provide the Bolingbrook community the opportunity to explore theatre arts through our new Theatre Arts Scholarship award program. By decreasing or eliminating the financial impact traditionally associated with joining a theatre program, the Arts Council scholarship hopes to encourage all residents interested in theatre arts to pursue their curiosity. Selected Bolingbrook applicants could receive a full or partial tuition scholarship to a theatre arts program, including stage crew programs.
The Theatre Arts Scholarship award program is open to all Bolingbrook residents or students who attend a Bolingbrook school. Scholarships that are awarded can be applied to any theatre program of the applicant's choosing, however, preference will be given to those applying for theatre programs based in Bolingbrook. No theatre experience is necessary to apply! The review of scholarship applications and selection of scholarship recipients will be determined by an Arts Council committee. Scholarship applications will be received on a rolling basis and are open until April 1, 2023, or until all scholarship funds are utilized.
*Limit one (1) scholarship per fiscal year.
